The kitty was brought to the clinic in critical condition. The ultrasound and X-ray showed a large amount of fluid and pus in the pleural cavity: pyothorax.

A drain was placed, and she has now been with a paid foster carer for 13 days. A bacteriological culture was also done, and from day one she has been getting two antibiotics along with other procedures.

The costs are high.. The clinic debt is 700 GEL (placement of 2 drains, blood tests, X-ray, procedures)
Plus the foster carer's costs separately (still to be calculated)
And now the GS medication, 140 GEL…
